Hi! I'm Kaylie

I am a 23-year-old college graduate who had plans to go to Physical Therapy school following my graduation in May of 2019. That was put on hold when I was diagnosed with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma on July 26, 2019. I was blindsided by the news as this was definitely not in my plans for my life. No one expects that this could happen to them. I will be undergoing chemotherapy for 18 weeks; 6 rounds of chemo, once every 3 weeks. I invite you to follow along with my journey and I hope you find encouragement and hope somewhere in my story.

I've chosen "The Little Things" as the title for this blog because my goal during my treatment is to find joy in the little things. Am I going to have bad days and is it going to be rough? Yes, but I pray that the therapeutic writing of this blog and the support system of wonderful people I have around me will help along the way.
